Bruce Campbell, Camp Director
I am a National Board Certified Teacher who has been teaching high school English in Upper Arlington for 22 years.  I hold a B.S. from Miami University with a minor in Coaching.  I have also earned a M.A. in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University.  In addition to my teaching experience, I also coached professionally for 22 seasons, with experiences ranging from 7th grade to the varsity level: basketball (15 years), golf (4 years), and track & field (4 years). Currently, I enjoy cheering on my daughters as they compete in various activities.  As a longtime educator, father of three beautiful girls, and a member of the Worthington community, my goal is to provide a camp experience where every single child has the same opportunity to excel, learn, and grow that I would want for my own children.

Hi! My name is Micah, and I’m excited to be part of the Sandlot team! I am a high school English teacher in the Olentangy Local School District, where I have been teaching for 17 years. I have also spent the past 14 seasons coaching the girls varsity golf team at Olentangy High School. In addition, I volunteer in various activities and events through Heritage Christian Church in Westerville alongside my wife and our two daughters. I’m originally from Findlay, Ohio, and earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wright State University.  I am passionate about sports, music, spending time with family and friends, and mentoring young people. I was fortunate to have incredible mentors in my life, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward by helping students discover their passions and reach their full potential. I joined the Sandlot team as a coach in 2018 and began assisting as Camp Director in 2024. I love the energy and enthusiasm our campers bring each day and always look forward to summers at Sandlot!
